Students as active participants in learning

Whenever I tutor maths, there are three skills I intend to stimulate in my scholars. I intend to pass on measurable feeling, techniques, and considerations for handling situations. These principles point me to develop a teaching style in which scholars need to be involved parties in learning.

I really want my scholars to be able to state their feelings quantitatively and be capable to check whether or not those feelings align with the actuality. I really want my scholars to be inventors. Whenever we work examples, I have scholars advise methods for various combination difficulties.
